I started this plan after having my baby, thinking I'd just be getting my physical body in shape. However, it turned into a faith journey as well. One that reshaped and renewed my spirit man. So much so, that I couldn't keep it to myself. The Renewed Journey is a combination of applied faith, applied fitness, and intentional living. God answers our need and meets us when we consecrate our minds, spirits and bodies before him. I have found it essential and extremely beneficial when I am on a quest to go higher or deeper in Christ to match my spiritual pursuit with clean eating and elimination of excess. This Journey is designed to do exactly that.
This Plan Includes A 30 Day Daily Devotional to foster transformation of your mind and spirit with focused meditation with God. Also a detailed 30 Day Meal Plan is included that promotes stubborn fat loss, metabolism reset, decreased inflammation, and improved gut health. Simple recipes, tips and tricks are laid out to make reaching your fitness goals easy.

WHAT IS THE 30 DAY RENEWED JOURNEY?
Upon purchasing the plan you will automatically receive the download of the 200+ page digital Renewed 30 Day Devotional, 30 day Meal Plan, and Workout Guide. You will also receive a welcome email that will invite you to join the 30 day Renewed Journey Community where you will be able to get encouragement, motivation, testimonies, prayer requests and guidance from Dr. Mitchell all while being apart of a supportive community of God Minded women.
IS THE RENEWED JOURNEY SAFE FOR BREASTFEEDING MOMS?
Yes! I myself am breastfeeding and many other breastfeeding moms have participated in the Renewed Meal Plan Journey. All have been able to lose weight without losing milk supply. It's recommended to wait 4-6 weeks post delivery for milk to come in and be well established before starting any diet program. Once milk has been established, the Meal Plan is safe and very effective for breastfeeding Mom's. A customization of tips for breastfeeding Mom's is included in the plan.
WHY IS THIS MEAL PLAN EFFECTIVE?
This plan is successful because it maximizes your time in your fat burning zone, controlling your insulin and promoting optimal hormones, sleep and adrenal function al while healing your gut and reseting your body. We do this through using an elimination style plan paired with reversed carb cycle and strategic macro placement backed by the most recent nutriitonal research.
DOES THE PLAN INCLUDE WORKOUTS?
Yes the plan includes a recommended workout program. But you are welcome to replace this with a workout regimen of your choice. The most important thing is to be consistently active and workout 3-5 times per week.
IS THE MEAL PLAN VEGAN FRIENDLY?
The Plan includes some vegan friendly options such as organic tofu and vegan protein powder for shakes but honestly, it’s not a plan that can be easily subbed for strict vegans. Most meat substitutes are not allowed due to the macros and/or ingredients, though Beyond Meat is ok to use in the plan. Pescatarians can sub the lean meats for fish easily throughout the plan.
IS THE MEAL PLAN VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY?
Yes, totally! The plan does includes a bunch of non-meat protein choices such as organic tofu, eggs, vegan protein powder, and fish. Most meat substitutes are not allowed, but I do approve “Beyond Meat” to also use as a protein option on the plan. I have had many vegetarians do the plan and they easily sub out meat that is scheduled in meals for other protein approved options. They find that it’s an easy sub and still have lots of success on the plan.
DOES THE MEAL PLAN REQUIRE A LOT OF PREP & COMPLEX RECIPES?
The recipes are quick and easy to follow and made with simple ingredients that you probably already own in your kitchen (with maybe a few new additions). You do have to prep your protein for the week, but it can be done easily by grilling it, baking it, or even throwing it in a slow cooker.
